Taken at the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C. in broad daylight. Two child-like figures evoke a sense of puppetry on the exposed side of the structure, while the side in the shadow contains no subjects. Sitting dead center is the gray area.

Raine Roberts is a filmmaker and photographer from Chicago, IL. After receiving her BFA in Film Production, Raine moved to NYC to begin working on documentary films and to continue capturing the structures in her daily surroundings. She currently works for Ron Howard's Imagine Documentaries and is collaborating with many talented artists to document the novel coronavirus.
