Fine Art nominee

I intended to express the aesthetic of Rinpa’s style, Japanese traditional painting style, with photography. All photos of Plum Blossoms were originally taken against the sky background on 35 mm film. The other goal of this project was to express texture and color of paintings. The background was colored with acrylic paint.
