Memories are a tricky subject. The dictionary says it's something from our past, information which is stored for us to recall upon later. Yet we can remember experiences that we've never had. The stories our friends, family and loved ones tell us creates a series of images, experiences and invites us to recall a journey we've never taken. Another persons memories become our own as they unfold before us. What we recall from our distant memories become chaotic and vague as recall past events. Never do they appear the same when we think upon them. They twist and transform in our very mind as we explore the peerless journey through our thoughts. Untold stores invoke emotions within our hearts when the past comes to life again. A person, place, feeling or thing, some we want to forget and others we want to remember. Welcome to a memory, untold yet retelling.

Monti Bloodworth was serving in the Marine Corps deployed overseas, that is when his passion for photography was born. While being deployed he purchased a point and shoot camera to capture the moments and memories from being in another country. Monti wanted to record the moments in time that would unfold before him. This created a burning sensation that changed his perception to the reality he lived in.

He started to view the world with a different perspective, and had started experiencing the world through his lens. The wanting to create a story into an image that could convey the emotion he felt as events and untold stories unfolded. He wanted to share his ambitions, emotions, and vision with the viewers that would see his images created from the thoughts within his mind.

Monti Bloodworth is a Fine Artist based in San Francisco, California. Although he specializes in those fields, he is extremely flexible and able to create art in different genres of photography. His pursuit in being a photographer has driven him to create photographs that tell stories, ignites ones imagination and curiosity.
