My favorite place in the wide world.

This photo was taken on the lake tour and was the first stop. We travelled to the front of the lake and got the sun rise over the mountains providing the alpine glow.

Love the natural composition of balance and symmetry as well as reflection.

I am an engineer in oil and gas living in Calgary, Alberta Canada.

I started taking photos in 2012 and studied many classes, I have attempted to start my own photography business which has not taken off as of yet, I make no money from photography.

My daughters are ski racers and I started taking fast action sports shots and developed from there.

I have never entered a competition and have never allowed my work to be judged. Recently I took Tim Shields Master photography class and learnt the best way to be recognised is to enter competitions, so here goes.

I have a Canon 5D mark III which I purchased from new in 2012, I have looked after this camera and have added the lens and equipment to carry out my fascination into the world of photography. I am currently saving for new equipment to carry out my obsession.
