Landscape nominee

Passion for me is emotion, involvement, connection and all these resulted in the idea, to photograph this pair of trees, always from different angles, never the same. An exercise of creation, to see different perspectives, about simple trees (or things in general) in an ordinary landscape, where no one would photograph. These are not lonely trees in a field, it is my vision and my way to put those trees in perspective, which creates those frames.

My name is Daniel Dencescu, I was born in Romania in 1985 and I am living in Frankfurt, Germany. In my images I try to photograph the silence, being interested in the poetry of the ordinary, always searching for expression in the commonly overlooked scenes that surround us.
My photography is based on a minimalist approach using negative space which aims to reduce distraction by eliminating objects that are outside the main subject.
I developed my vision towards fine art black and white photography, with minimalistic compositions, lines and shapes to show an abstract version of what we see with our own eyes.
