Nature nominee

The bird of my childhood. As a child, I used to wake up in the morning and look out the window. It's snow-white outside, the river winds near the garden - skates are waiting under the bed. And on the guelder-rose - a real miracle. A pond of red nubbins - flying around the berries - eating breakfast. Winters since then changed, I have not seen bullfinches in the garden for several years. But this morning reminded me of my childhood. Nikon D500+Sigma C150-600+Sigma TC-1401 1.4x; f 8.5,1/1250 s. Petro Katerynych (Kyiv, Ukraine) is a PhD student at the Institute of Journalism at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine. Author of the publication in the national ranking periodicals "Ukrainska Pravda" ("Ukrainian Truth") and "Den" ("Day"). He has interned at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Presidential Administration of Ukraine. Winner of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Prize for Outstanding Achievements of Youth in Development of Ukraine and received a Mykhailo Hrushevskyi academic scholarship for PhD students.
