Autumn falls over the woods. What lies beyond?
AUTHOR
I am a German British visual artist based in Munich, working across photography, sound, and moving image. For nearly two decades, I worked in visual effects and audio post production, collaborating with studios such as ARRI, Scanline VFX, and Mackevision.
Alongside that career, I have developed a fine art photography practice centered on stillness, spatial memory, and emotional presence. My images often transform architectural or everyday structures into quiet abstractions, using light, repetition, and visual reduction to explore the space between presence and absence, movement and stillness.
Much of my work focuses on overlooked or transitional spaces, places that sit outside the frame of daily attention. I am drawn to restrained geometry, subtle shifts in light, and the quiet tension between surface and depth. Whether working with built environments or fragments of nature, I aim to create images that invite reflection, slow the gaze, and offer a sense of psychological and visual clarity amid complexity.
