When I first became interested in fungi, I was captivated by their unmistakable and diverse beauty. This interest in fungi has turned into a determination to learn everything I can about them. From their short life cycles to their relationship with the surrounding environment, the more I learn the more I become fascinated by the world of fungi. Every time I step foot in the forest, there awaits an opportunity for discovery and a chance to learn something new. This experience of discovery is what I am trying to share with people. You do not need to travel across the world to experience discovery, it can be found in your backyard if you slow down and connect with your surroundings. My goal is to excite as many people as I can about the world of fungi. We are just scraping the surface of the possibilities and potential that fungi hold.

One of the goals of my work is to show people the beauty that is within the local environment that is often overlooked and neglected. I aim to create respect and interest for the smaller things that make up the ecosystem.
