Nature nominee

For me it is always unforgettable when the time of sunflowers comes. In the stars of this incredible galaxy from time to time you can see spaceships - it is whinchats or yellow wagtails exploring new "planets".These spaceships appear in completely unexpected places just for a second. And then they disappear again.

When a bird lands in the sunflower, you hold your breath and take a few pictures.

Petro Katerynych (Kyiv, Ukraine) is a PhD student at the Institute of Journalism at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine. Author of the publication in the national ranking periodicals "Ukrainska Pravda" ("Ukrainian Truth") and "Den" ("Day"). He has interned at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Presidential Administration of Ukraine. Winner of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Prize for Outstanding Achievements of Youth in Development of Ukraine and received a Mykhailo Hrushevskyi academic scholarship for PhD students.
