You start as a talented photographer and it‘s hard to become an award winning photographer.
I took my first steps over 30 years ago with an olympus om 10 analog camera. During my study of human medicine and neurosurgery, my love for the medium was sleeping. Thank god, I rediscovered her and focused all my energy on fine art photography. Today I‘m happy to say that there are no technical limits. Now I'm working every day hard on my artistic skills to answer many self-asked questions. What makes an awards-worthy picture? What is beauty? How does our brain process images? Are there pre-installed or learned reaction sequences on images? How do optical illusions work? I can give a few answers:
1. The human brain is a facial recognition maschine.
2. For our brain, what looks healthy and what looks in good shape is beauty.
3. There is more than visualization and perception.
I got a lot of honorable mentions and nominations at thespiderawards, colorawards and IPA in nature, wildlife, aerial, porträt, nude, architectural and fine art photography
I‘m a wild life photographer
