Ladies and gentlemen,
my name is Aleksey Ubeyvolk, I am a film and television operator by profession.
I was born on June 1, 1972 in Chelyabinsk, Russia.
In 1995, I became a student of the cinematography Department of the Russian Institute of cinematography (VGIK).
As a DOP, I have participated in production of several movies and TV series.
Currently I live and work in Minsk.
In parallel with my main work, I am engaged in photography.
While doing photography, I sometimes like to experiment with films and old cameras.
For digitization, I use a Nikon Coolscan 9000 scanner.
When processing images in Photoshop, I sometimes use Instagram filters.
I bring to your attention two series of photographs: "Home Photo" and "Passengers".
