The picture was made a few weeks after the outbreak of te covid pandemic. It shows the bond between a brother and his sister in an uncertain time. All the stores were closed at the time and we bought sheepskin on the Internet from a shepherd in the Netherlands. The idea behind it is that nature always rules and will protect us if we live in symbiosis. It is important to remember that we are connected: if nature suffers, so do we.

Belgian artist Isa Bekaert (born 1975) is a portrait and life style fine art photographer. As an artist, she visualizes true emotions in a natural, tenderness and timeless way. She has won multiple international photography awards. Currently, Isa and her partner are experimenting with early image making techniques.
