Symmetry is aesthetically pleasing. Especially when our mind can make sense of it.
With the Totems series, my goal was to create grandiose pictures from simple architecture shots.
"What is it you see?" — What I enjoy the most about this body of work is that it's almost impossible to see the original material anymore.
Much like Rorschach test, you can only appreciate these new floating objects that I have created.

# Biography
I am a self-taught photographer, specialised in architecture photography, from Grenoble, France.
I started practicing photography during high school, where I joined its local club. I then continued during my first years at University and did a few amateur exhibitions.
Professionally, I am a software developer, and I've been into computers ever since I'm little. Photoshop is one of the first piece of software I've ever used, and it's become my best ally in photography.
Recently, I understood that what I liked doing was mixing my two passions: architecture photography and photomontages.
This is how my series Totems was born. My work on symmetry (and asymmetry) is just getting started.
# Awards
2011 : Jury's prize "Beau à Savoir" (National University contest)
# Exhibitions
2019 : Salon de la photo de Paris (part of Fujifilm Printlife)
