DESCRIPTION
We’ve all received that phone call, that text, that notification, that sends the Earth beneath us spinning into oblivion. That sentence that releases the flood gates of old dusty memories and forces you realize that the good memories are all you have left and the bad ones just suddenly don’t matter anymore. That moment where you can't seem to catch your breath or even remember how to breathe at all. Ears ringing. Heart racing. Feet unable to find solid terrain. The free fall from loss.
And while the world is currently tumbling out of control, one thing is certain, that when it stops, when you can feel the ground beneath your feet again and your red eyes can see clearly, grief will land you in you.
This is Marigold Grief.

She barely eats and barely sleeps and with tired eyes and coffee lips is how she moves about the Earth.
Born and raised down an old dirt road in Pikeville, North Carolina, she grew up barefoot and curious.
Spending her days lost amongst the hills, the lines in her hands, and the alternate realities she created.
Rae strives to create worlds within her work; whether those worlds are places she longs to be a part of
or places she feels trapped within, they are all worlds of her own. Located in the sliver of space between
consciousness and limbo; where secrets frolic about freely, where passions and feelings are as raw as
emeralds, where the impossible becomes reality.
