Seascape 1st place winner

The sky, the mist, the ocean, open to the delights of a diaphanous glow, offering a sensation of fullness, where the softness and minimalism of the images, reveal the true reflection of feelings, overlooking a peaceful world with which we feel in harmony ...

"Oblivion is a gigantic ocean on which sails a single ship, which is memory"(Amélie Nothomb).

The coastal battery of Capbreton, Aquitaine, France consisted of 4 casemates armed with 105 mm Schneider guns. This set represented a built volume of 880 cubic meters of concrete. Many shelters were scattered on the beach. The blockhouses are now submerged at each high tide.

I took my first steps in film photography when I was a student, then I did not practice for many years, thinking of returning to it one day ...

Very attracted by the portrait and the world of the arts, it was not until 2017 that I set foot in the stirrup ... digital this time. I make portraits of artists I met during artistic events. Photography opens wide the doors of artistic creation to me.

In 2019, I discovered long exposure technique, and ventured into this field, where time and light offer other spaces of freedom and inspiration conducive to another form of creation.
