Street Photography nominee

Part of the ongoing revitalization of Brooklyn's historic Red Hook neighborhood, this facade is all that is left of an old waterfront warehouse. This neighborhood is where the film On the Waterfront is based. While some things have changed for the better, Red Hook's gritty facade remains in tact. With the Statue of Liberty in the background, this image captures my vision of New York, a vision of continuous change.
