Crossing the Alps (Single)
DESCRIPTION
This photo shows my brother Christoph standing in front of an impressive mountainscape on our way crossing the Alps from Oberstdorf to Merano in 2015. This stage of the E5 European long distance path leads from Madau to Zams and the photo was made near the Memminger hut in the Lechtal Alps.
AUTHOR
Since I was eleven years old, when I received my first camera, I was indulged in photography. Even back then, animals have been my favourite subjects.
Wildlife photography and so to protrait animals in their natural habitat is my great passion and my personal way to contribute to conservation.
My love for nature was leading me to Innsbruck, Austria, in 2011, where I studied biology for four terms, beneath my work in the Bavarian casino in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In the following years I educated myself further with correspondence courses for tourism management and journalism.
On diverse trips through Europe, Asia and Africa I could promote my photographical skills and develop my own style.
Because in photography you never stop learning and development is an ongoing process,I am always looking forward for new tasks and challenges.
So far I earned some honorable mentions at the Monovisions and the Monochrome Photography Awards.
