Doto greenamyeri. Common name: Donut doto
The body of this nudibranch is translucent white. There is a longitudinal stripe of brown pigment along the midline of the back which bifurcates on the head and leads to the brown rhinophores. The cerata are distinctive in shape, with a series of raised rings on their outer faces. The maximum length of this species is 15 mm
Story:
This picture has been taken in Tulamben (Bali - Indonesia), this little fella is always found munching over one kind of hydroids. I wanted to highlight the beauty of that small body formed by the small rings so I placed my focus light and my strobes so that they gave the sensation of the body shining from the inside.
