Little owls at sunset (Single)
DESCRIPTION
These two little owls have settled near the ruins of Gubkovsky Castle in Ukraine. While walking, I noticed the owls hunting in the meadow near the castle walls. It was already dark, and I decided to return tomorrow. The next day, armed with a camera, I lurked not far from where they live. Toward evening, as the sun was nearing sunset, the owls crouched on an abandoned stake and began to call back. I was lucky enough to catch this shot, and within ten minutes the sun had hidden behind the horizon.
