Wildlife/Animals nominee

Taken at Bushy Park, Surrey, UK. I was tracking a single male deer when it stopped by some trees & sat down. I neared a little closer and as I did so I could see the tops of more antlers through the tall grass. I quietly walked round to the other side and there in full view was a large group of male deer. I stayed at a safe distance and got snapping. They were all very relaxed, just having a lazy, hazy afternoon rest together. There were about 20 of them, but this is one of my favourites, where I've just zoomed in and focused on a central section of about 9 or 10 of them close together with their array of antlers. Personally, as an amateur photographer, I've never seen quite so many male deer together in a group and was literally quite staggered at the sight in front of me, hence the play on the image title and the fact that they were all male deer, it fitted rather well !

I am currently an Amateur level Photographer ( also a Make Up Artist & Stylist ) with a focus in Fashion, Beauty & general Portrait work, but also with an interest in outdoor photography. Looking to elevate my status to Professional. I am a member of the photographer's global interactive community website www.viewbug.com - and in the last few years, I've been a Winner, Runner Up or Finalist in 11 of their photo Contests and Challenges and I frequently finish in the top 10% ( the website membership is worldwide, so often there are 10's of thousands of entries ). I've also been a Finalist in 2 of The Make Up Show photo Competitions ( Orlando & Dallas, USA ). In 2019, I was invited by the owner of a small hotel in Turkey to take flower photos to compliment the colour themes in each of the hotel bedrooms, the photos were printed on canvass in various sizes, the largest being 1.4 metres square and are now hanging proudly in 9 hotel rooms.
