DESCRIPTION
"Whitout" is a series of pictures taken in Venice in the last days of the first lockdown in spring 2020. It gives an unusual view at the most famous places in Venice. Venice without habitants. Venice without tourists. Venice without passing boats. Venice without....
Normally I visit Venice a few times every year and since my childhood I have never seen "La Serenissima" like this. Reduced to the essential and nothing to prevent the view. To give it an extra surreal view, I created a sky that makes the city look, like it was captured in a studio with a fake background.
AUTHOR
Since 1995 I´m a self-employed photographer of architecture, hotels and interiors. Whenever I´m not in a contract, I love to take pictures for myself. These pictures can be found in the "Fineart"-section of my website. I travelled a lot in the last 2 decades and in the last few years, I tried to give all my knowledge to interested photographers. Therefore I founded "Die Fotoreiserei" where people have the possibility to learn about photography while travelling with me.
