Conceptual nominee

The series focuses on the fusion of taekwondo movements and the nature. I utilized the several movements of taekwondo to depict the nature and to illustrate how a person can grow, just like how a plant can grow from a seed to a tree with flowers. I want the viewers to deeply feel the connection and correlation between the martial art and the nature, and to see the aesthetic side of the art. The images respectively show PUNCH, SINGLE KNIFE HAND BLOCK, SPEAR HAND STRIKE, OUTER FOREARM INWARD BLOCK, and TURNING KICK. The colours of the background on the left means the colours of the taekwondo belt (yellow, green, blue, red, black), which respectively signifies the first YELLOW beam of sunlight shining on the seed, GREEN sprouting of seed as it grows, BLUE sky where plant continues to grow towards, RED-hot heat of sun that shines as the plant continues growing, and the BLACK darkness beyond the sun. The brightness of the background on the right becomes brighter as the series continues, signifying a learner who grows like the plant. When a learner gets the black belt, he is a fully grown learner who can now teach his disciples.
