DESCRIPTION
The picture comes from the poetry session 'In the trap of dreams'. It was made in 2020 on an Ilford negative. As usual, no retouching or digital manipulation. A literary text was created to each photo. Picturesintended for the series of author's photographic poetry.
I wasn't looking for you.
I picked flowers in the meadow,
and you hid in flowers.
You were so close.
Invisible by day
you blossomed at night.
Draped in white flower petals
You hid in them
beyond good, beyond evil.
I slept, did not see it
like a blind man unaware,
that you are there.
After all, I did not know what was not allowed
what is allowed.
Too late now
and I wish I had looked.
Before the day comes
I won't say a word.
I will not touch.
Let the petals continue to hug you.
Now, be unaware of that
I did not search, but I found ...
AUTHOR
I specialize in classical photography on negative materials.I try to keep the beauty of the moment in my works.Each work carries a specific emotional state underlined by light and shadow. Computer is only a tool for me of image presentation.The appropriate means of communication addressed to the viewer is a classic silver print. I try to save the old world of photography from the oblivion.
