DESCRIPTION
There is an old woman who lives in a hidden place who carries a cure for everything – that’s an opening phrase of so many legends from all over the world. As in the fairy tales of Eastern Europe, where she is called Baba Yaga, she seems to wait for lost or wandering seekers to come to her place. She calls herself the gartherer as her work is collecting bones. She collects and preserves that which is in danger of being lost to the world. And then sings over the bones, breathing soul over each thing that is ailing or in need of restoration, bringing them back to life.
AUTHOR
As an arts therapist, I’m a keeper of stories, I breathe and live them, I carry them in my body. I work through them. My work is about collecting abandoned and long forgotten aspects of lost selves, exploring into symbols and archetypes and helping those I assist reclaim their passion, creativity, and power.
