Javier Aranburu was born in Paris and is from Madrid by adoption.
He studied at ICP (International Center of Photography).
He grew interested in fine art photography and in 2011 he opened his own gallery in Madrid, pulling for creative freedom. His complete work can be seen on www.javieraranburu.com
In recent years he has specialized in the city of Madrid, with individual exhibitions at the Ateneo de Madrid 2017 and at PhotoEspaña in 2018.
Finally his work has been specified in a book edited by Anaya in 2020, entitled "Portrait of Madrid"
