In my work, I focus mainly on creative photography, in particular fabricated to be photographed. I build and arrange three-dimensional scenography illustrating the subject that I want to capture in a photo. Image distortions are not the result of manipulations in the graphic program, but reflections in the mirror surfaces surrounding the scenery.
There is a quantum hypothesis of many parallel worlds. They may be similar to ours or completely different. They can be governed by the same laws of physics, but not necessarily. Our parallel, alternative lives in all possible versions of events can take place in them. This concept contains many possibilities and solutions, but most of all a space for creative interpretation.
The Multiversum photographic project is my vision of one of the alternative realities. In it, I focused on the landscape, the appearance of places from a parallel world. The landscape titles are longitudes and latitudes from our globe, but the photographs illustrate what this place looks like in a hypothetical parallel reality. The key here is the multidimensionality of the painting, created thanks to appropriately curved mirror surfaces set on a circular plan, surrounding and reflecting the landscape I have created many times over.

She was born in Bielsko-Biała in 1979. In 1994 – 1999 she was a student at The State High School of Plastic Arts in Bielsko – Biała, which she finished with distinctions – specializing in Artistic Weaving. In 1999 – 2004 she studied Art in Education in Cieszyn, at the Art Faculty of the University of Silesia in Katowice. She received her degree in graphic arts with honours and she did some further work in photography. Since 2004 she has been working in the Studio of Photography in her home university. She is an academic teacher. In 2011 she received a Ph D. degree in photography – at the Department of Cinematography and Television Production within the State Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre in Łódź. She has presented her works at numerous individual and group exhibitions – both in Poland and abroad.
