Estado de Alarma.
On 21 June 2020, after ninety-nine days and six extensions, what was formally concluded
the "State of alarm" to combat the Covid 19 epidemic has been defined in Spain.
The photos I present are a selection of my family's photographic diary made in Bar-
cellona during the quarantine.
Since the first day of lockdown I have been thinking about making a book. The photographic process is
been marked by a daily editing, a writing that has the qualities of the document, but
which ranges from fictional stories to children's science fiction. Rodari, Munari, a kid's encyclopedia, Luigi Ghirri, knocked on my door during those days.
I hold dear, an echo of my childhood as a child raised in Modena in the seventies
, which I try to pass on to my children and which has found a space in my photographic journey.
