I am fascinated by this visual effect which reminds me of the Universe, time and reincarnation. I believe there is a link between them, and I’m trying to find it out by this series.

Born in Taipei, Taiwan. Yi-Chen LEE started to study the 8th art in Paris in 2018 and kept documenting social movements during his studies while he developed conceptual photography. He conveys social commentaries through his conceptual images and regards his photography as evidence of the very real-life questions surrounding such issues as stereotyping and identity.

As a self-taught photographer in his early career, he photographed the 2009 Summer Deaflympics and completed an internship with Central News Agency. He then documented the 2010 & 2014 New Taipei Municipal Mayoral Elections, and 2016 Taiwan presidential election. Yi-Chen LEE became official photographer of New Taipei City Government in Taiwan in 2012.
