Mount Etna's effusive fracture (Single)
DESCRIPTION
Mount Etna, is one of the most active volcanoes on Earth. I haved reached the new effusive fracture, which began to erupt two weeks before, at an altitude of 3100 meters, at the base of the South East Crater, the youngest of the four active summit craters. The explosive phases seemed over so I decided very carefully to get close as possible. Then I started to take pictures from where the lava was coming out with a temperature of 1100 C°.After the first part, due to the cooling of the surface, the lava flow had generated a magnificently and typical cavity called lava tunnel
