Faith can give incredible strength to men and the meteors in Greece are a magnificent proof of this. Men did not hesitate to brave all dangers and build monasteries on top of cliffs to be closer to their God (and further away from their enemies!). It often took them more than a decade to finish these incredible and unique buildings.
There is a unique energy on this earth. In this picture it is this sacred link with the sky, with this invisible God that I have tried to represent.
