The Golden Orb-Web Spider, otherwise known as the Joro Spider, is a common spider species found in Japan.
I was walking through a forest in Fukuoka Prefecture when I noticed an intense sun ray hitting on a large Joro Spider web. From certain oblique angles, the spider silk was dispersing the sunlight into a beautiful array of rainbow colours. It was a surreal moment. I used a macro lens and took several shots with different f-stops.
