This image presents the night winter sky from Lepus to Taurus constellations above famous czech horseshoe in Solenice, Czech Republic.
A lot of people knows Orion constellation but at this part of the sky there is more to discover. Unfortunatelly only stars, Milky way belt, Pleyades and the Great Orion nebulla can be seen by human's eyes. The camera sees much more colors so I was able to capture all hydrogen nebullas. Thanks to fog in Southern Bohemia the lights from cities were not as bright as usuall so the rare red Airglow above the horizon can be seen as well.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
Since 2016 I am walking landscapes with my photo backpack and tripod. It was my love to mountains and to nature in general that brought me to the landscapes photographing. First I started as classical tourist making pictures during my trips, but as time went on, it was more and more about targeted expeditions for a picture, sometimes staying overnight waiting for first morning sun rays.
When photographing I am focusing on less known places and trying to bring some new perspectives during different daily periods and year seasons.
Awards:
NASA astronomy picture of the day
2x3. and 2. place in Czech Nature Photo
