Night Photography nominee

Towering above the sea since immemorial times, the three rocky formations are illuminated by the Icelandic midnight sun. In addition, the long exposure petrifies the swift clouds and ocean in an attempt to bring them to the same impermeability and rest as those mighty pillars themselves.

As a self-taught photographer and biology student, I aim to appreciate and share the beauty of the natural world through the lens of both art and science. Thus, I vividly enjoy visiting various ecosystems in order to see for myself all I have learned academically and inversely to seek new wonders of life I can then explore through a scientific perspective.

As for now, I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at Imperial College London as I hope to develop both the artistic and scientific facets of my love for nature.
