Lullaby (Series)
DESCRIPTION
Accepted unconditionally, we are in the lush lap of nature. Because it makes no difference. What seems cold and heartless on the one hand, weighs us on the other, dries our tears and relieves our pain. Naked and vulnerable. Intimate picture project as a series with an inclusive component. This project was implemented together with the disabled performance artist, author and photographer, Ronald Walter in spring 2020 at the time of the lockdown.
AUTHOR
Isabell Richter is a German photographer and designer specializing in documentary and portrait photography. Trained in photography and design, she later worked for the non-profit photo organization Photosynthesis in London. Starting with classical photography, her work has changed significantly over the past few years. Her works now often contain a poetic visual note, which, however, is often on the borderline of the conservative aesthetic feeling. Through intimate closeness to the person portrayed, she allows everyday situations to appear in new facets and thus breaks up conventions of the most varied of topics. She collaborates with various artists and has been part of international art projects such as “SKIN” (Berlin, Australia), “La Resaca de los Dioses” (Argentina) and “UNO” (Brazil). As a photo artist, she is very committed to the topic of inclusion and people with disabilities and also includes them thematically in her work. She is currently creating a digital illustrated book on the events of the Lockdown Light in Germany and on the very private hurdles of the people affected by the measures.
