Portrait nominee

We want smiling faces on the wall. However, that doesn't always reflect the real life. Single mothers look stronger than they feel, need more time of themselves than they realise. I created this portrait with my friend who is a single mother with 2 lovely boys. We want to show that single motherhood is exhausting. We need no more stigma, but support.
