The portrait of Annette was taken in a small clothing store cellar with one light only.
While I was waiting for a client to come down for her photoshoot, Annette came and sat in the chair to keep me company.
As I looked at her and just asked her to stay still. Then I took this shot.
The photo aims to encourage women over 60 to have the confidence to sit in front of a camera and be proud of themselves simply as they are.
