Who is behind the images that are printed in the newspapers every day?
Stefanie Kösling started looking for colleagues in Frankfurt who visually impress us again and again.
For them, the portrait of a person is not just a snapshot. It is respect for the other person and the transformation to bring your own perception together with the individual freedom of the photographed to an expressive overall picture.
The people portrayed here have a personal connection to the places. The self-chosen space thus becomes part of a story about people.

2003 "Motor City"

A personal view at the east part of Frankfurt, a view at its people.
The exhibition was part of a participatory series of exhibitions

of the Frankfurt Historical Museum.
2013 "Green Belt"
Portraits and group shots,
which were created on behalf of the Environment Agency of the City of Frankfurt and
were exhibited at the old airfield in Bornames.
2017 "Library of Generations"
An open archive of memories by Sigrid Sigurdsson in the Historisches Museum Frankfurt.
