Lockdown has bought many challenges in shooting portraits, but I have relished the restrictions and used them as a box to think 'inside of' rather than 'outside of'.
Exploring the limited ways possible, I challenged my own status quo to relook and reframe the person in front of me in whatever form possible on the day.
As a multimedia artist I am always looking for ways to cross the boundaries of photography and painting and bring them closer together. It seems that being restricted rather than totally free has been one of the key factors here in helping to do just that.
This series is an ongoing one, as currently this virus is going nowhere, but here is a selection of some of my favourite images to date.
