This work it's not only about pandemic shit in the world. It is also about political and social mess in the country I am living, Brazil.
In a very stressful situation - on one side, the global threat of a virus, on the other side, the threat of a politic leader that in few months managed to build one of the worst and dangerous government on earth - and while the wear of a mask turned compulsory, I started to think what really does protect me and my soul, seeing through the prism of a physical protection.
I choose, then, 9 items that could better represent this.
Some are "serious" and deeply grounded on my soul some are lighter and relating to personal characteristics and tastes, as I didn't want to lose irony (that may be a form of protection too...), especially in this obscurantism time in Brazil.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
I am a free-lance documentalist, with sociology background.
My works have been published in magazines and newspapers (Corriere della Sera, NZZ, Internazionale) and in international reports of United Nations agencies like Unicef and Unfpa.
In 2004 I realized a multimedia reportage on violence in Brazil, which was edited by “Foto Up” italian digital magazine.
I have been living in Lima (Peru), Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia (Brazil), Sarajevo (Bosnia-Herzegovina), Buenos Aires (Argentina) organizing, in addition to my photographic work, photographic workshops for children and adults (both presential and OnLine courses).
I exposed a participative photo essay on "people of Sarajevo", both in Black Box Galery in Sarajevo and at the Cultural Center of the National Congress in Brasilia.
This work has been selected by Museo de La Carcova in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
At the moment, I am living in the epicenter of the more chaotic and scaring city and country, Brasilia, Brazil.
