I have been waiting for three years for the right wind conditions to paraglide over this incredible oceanic beach in the canary island of Lanzarote.
The power of the ocean and the contrast with the volcanic sand make the beach of Famara unique, and seen from above, the perfection of the waves crushing is a surprise verging on the incredible.
Famara gave me surfing, more than a sport a way of life, where you are closest to nature’s wilderness and some days is great fun, and others is a fight against the ocean’s strength.
The sun, the wind, the ocean and your body are in harmony. Nothing matters, you can only think about the next wave, and out of the water you prepare to improve, day after day.
Flying offers a completely different and more complete point of view on the force of nature.
This is how I see my favourite place in the world.
