Street Photography 3rd place winner

Recadrer, déformer, contraster, pour finir, détourner le lecteur de la réalité de l’image pour ne lui laisser que le plaisir de la contemplation artistique. C’est dans cette démarche que s’inscrit cette série photographique, une vision minimaliste de notre environnement urbain face à la nature complexe de l’homme.
Cette série est également la genèse de mon art, le début d’une nouvelle expérience qui m’a détourné de la vie simple et monotone m’obligeant à m’enfermer dans une vision du monde à laquelle je n’aspirais pas.
Qu’est-ce que l’architecture ? Le simple reflet de l’âme humaine. Des lignes non naturelles mais qui nous font rêver et font rêver leurs créateurs. La finalité : détourner notre propre nature imparfaite pour offrir tout ce que le cerveau est capable de comprendre, d’analyser, et de créer l’inverse de nous-même...

I started photography in January 2018 following a strong need to find a new professional path.
My first subjects come alive around a minimalist and geometric vision of street photography. We will start two series from this period.
At the end of 2018 I tried to collaborate around a professional project but quickly I understood that only the artistic vision of photography interested me. Some exhibitions confirm this choice thanks to the good impression the public has on my work.
I then created the Dark Insomnia series. I write and edit the book Sombre Insomnie, a detective story.
At the end of 2019, introspection goes to the heart of my artistic vision, I feel the need to work on the memories of my childhood with the production of the series : Head in the clouds. I am finalizing this series in March 2020.
