White, always more, out of sight. A desert without any color. Or is it the opposite? White is actually all colors at once. And suddenly, like a mirage: Red. Mysterious, only escape for the eye in this immensity. Only trace of Humanity in this nature so powerful, so wild, so hostile.
This series has been captured in the region of Senja Island, in Northern Norway, beyond the polar circle.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
At only 30 years old, Jean-Mathieu Saponaro, born in Provence, had the opportunity thanks to his career as a software engineer to live in Paris, San Francisco and New York. It’s in the streets of Brooklyn that he immersed himself into photography. He drew his inspiration and the desire to capture everyday moments.
Colors play a central role in his photos, like an echo to the vibrant tones of his native Southern France. He adds to these colors a careful composition in order to give a new aesthetic breath to ordinary objects, places, and scenes.
His work has been exhibited in Paris’ “Salon de la Photo”, in various galleries in Paris, Aix-en-Provence and Arles, and also published in magazines dedicated to photography.
