This photo belongs to a series of photographs that I took in the winter of 2019/20. A mixture of frost and fog enchanted the landscape for a few days. I used the time to photograph the linden trees of the region. They were traditionally planted when first-born sons were born or political events arrived.
The image stood out strongly from the other images in the series because of the composition of the road, the hill and the two posts at the end of the road.
This gives the image an abstract note. I found a conversion in black and white fitting to the monotony and dreariness of the image.
