Architecture nominee

The images in the series are excerpt from a Portfolio in progress that began in March 2020. Entitled "Montréal-Intermezzo", the Portfolio presents emblematic places and buildings of Montreal photographed during the pandemic period. For many people, the "sanitary break" remains synonymous with emptiness. For my part, the general atmosphere left me more with an impression of serenity and timelessness. To quote Edward Weston: “Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.”

I have been practicing photography as an amateur photographer for over 50 years. I mainly focus on photographic projects (thematic portfolios) on which I can work for months and even several years.
