Cityscape nominee

Whenever I am out and about in Germany, I come across motifs that I would like to call still lifes. Mostly very average, sometimes neglected places that tell a lot about the country and its people. Away from the modern, clunky city centers with their digital glitz, there are still places with the spirit of the prudish 50s. The spectrum ranges from bourgeois garden gnomes to shabby bunker ruins, but always with one thing in common: It`s very German. Not pretty, out of date, sometimes despicable, but comfortably familiar.
