This series shows people with imperfections. They are part of a larger series in which I show the person and their story. I want people to see the person behind the cover. And not judge at first sight.
"Embrace yourself" shows a man who has struggled with himself since childhood and now came to love himself.
"Bent but nog broken" shows a woman who has scoliosis and kept it secret her whole life.
"Upside down" shows a man whose world turned upside down when he was told that his nose had to be amputated due to cancer.
"A new beginning" shows a woman who is waiting for a treatment that will help her recover from a rare muscle and nerve disease.
"Perfect imperfection" shows a man who had been hit by an industrial lawn mower as a little child.
