Conceptual nominee

In my ‘Duotone series’ – This shoot was a research to create a duotone game. Main concept would be ‘ropes’. Playing, balancing, being entangled, entwined and weaved through, under, in between the ropes. A game of duotones of the skin and the ropes. I wanted to the capture the elegancy, the intensely beautiful bodylines of my model struggling and playing with the ropes. I didn’t want any other colors to interfere with this purpose. So the leotard had to be skin colored too

Who could i ask better than my so beautiful and talented muse Oona? I knew Oona was the perfect choice.

I did build days before a whole construction strong and high enough so my model could even hang on the ropes. And the evening before I did hang a spiderweb of big ropes

And yes, my so talented muse showed again all stunning curves and lines she can do with her beautiful body. Oona had to dance, had to move, to hang with the… she is really so good !!! And the result of this shoot is stunning

My photography is known for my contemporary, experimental and conceptual Fine Art portraits with children.
My photographic style is sometimes emotional, stylish and simple: I like to photograph dancers, ballerinas, gymnasts, contortionists ... , lately mainly elite athletes, emphasizing the elegance of the 'human body' starting with the pure body yourself. Beauty in artistic human lines, muscles, the play of light and shadow on this, where their movement or pose makes the image so pure.
My photographic style can also be called conceptual: building a whole set with old props and clothes.
But above all, my style can be called contemporary and experimental: what could be more beautiful than photographing my model, half girl, half clay statue, assuming a pose that only she can do. What could be better than using props to make my photos surreal.
