"Anna"

It was during the pandemic that I returned to the land of my childhood, Larrouy, an estate that belonged to my grandmother, to rediscover in these times of crisis the moments of happiness and carelessness spent by her side.
Driven by wanderings and the persistence of memory, I worked instinctively, focusing above all on the poetry of the place. Everything is still there thirty years later, a basket on the table, my sister's cabin, a old barrier, apart from the presence of the loved one. In this nature bathed in light, all the senses respond to pay a vibrant tribute to it.

The photographs presented in this series are 5x7 inch tintypes made with the historic wet plate collodion process.

French photographer author, I work exclusively with photographic film.
By experimenting this way, I discovered the immense richness of the beginnings of photography.
I therefore gradually specialized in the photographic processes of the 19th century, Wet plate collodion, Cyanotype, Daguerreotype and Bromoil.
My creative process is shaped by craftsmanship. The production of a photograph such as I conceive it, cannot be done otherwise than by the contact and the intimate proximity of the raw material.
Wood, aluminum, glass, paper, liquids and chemicals or simply by the image that forms behind the ground glass of a large format camera.

Exhibitions:

From 2004 to 2022 I participated in 17 collectives and solo exhibitions in french galleries, Toulouse, Paris, Biarritz, Lyon, Tarbes, Carla Bayle, Pamiers, Castelnaudary.
