DESCRIPTION
This collection of photographs was taken over the past few years while backpacking around the magnificent cascade mountains of Washington and Oregon. While I don't always enjoy the hoards of bugs and grueling miles trekked, the intimacy of solitude around these peaks is immensely rewarding.

Will Smythe is an environmental engineer and landscape photographer based out of Pacific Northwest. He specializes in mountain scenes and spends his summers backpacking in the cascade range of Washington state.
