The colours of Autumn in Scotland are often spectacular. I am particularly drawn to the abstract landscapes that occur when the autumnal foliage of trees, heathers and grasses are reflected in the mirror of a loch. The colours can change frequently, with the weather and time of day, so a day spent sitting at the loch’s edge can result in a range of different colours, tones and kaleidoscope patterns as day turns to dusk. My series aims to capture the colours and abstract patterns in the autumnal reflections.
